The photo's in the following gallery are historic images around  my hometown of Grafton, West Virginia.  I became interested in collecting and restoring old photographs of Grafton several years ago while searching for old photos when planning a Wonderful West Virginia magazine article about Grafton.  I actually found quite a few and decided I would love to start collecting and preserving as many images as I could.  I do not actually collect the photo or postcard I just obtain it, digitize it, restore it and save it on a CD.  The original image is returned to it's owner, or if I have purchased it on Ebay resold.  I have acquire images from various sources...some are very high quality scans from original photos, some are downloads from the internet and some are scanned from postcards.  I'm not really sure why I do this...other than I'm proud of the history of Grafton and as a professional photographer I just enjoy seeing old photographs from it's colorful history - in addition to the love of restoring old images.  I have decided to share the few photographs I have collected up till now with others who are interested in Grafton by adding this gallery to my website  Check back often as I will update the gallery as I obtain more photographs...ENJOY.
